CREATIVE WRITING

Venue: The Reubens, Leeming Bar
Cost: No charge for venue hire but members attending are expected to buy a refreshment.

The group is suitable for absolute beginners and also more experienced writers too. Writing is good for keeping the brain working and for your mental wellbeing. Come along for a chat, laughs and some writing too. There is no pressure to share what you have written.

Our Creative Writing sessions include fun activities and lots of tips and support to help you along the way. Research shows that creative writing improves both cognitive skills and mental health, but the most important thing about our sessions is that they are friendly, enjoyable and fun.
