Membership Renewals Are Now Due
Renewal forms will be sent out to all members with full instructions of how to renew. Please contact the Membership Secretary if you no longer wish to receive ‘u3a Matters’ magazine.
Membership Fees for 2026/2027
Full individual membership from 1st May 2026 to 30 April 2027 costs £13 or £26 for joint membership. Anyone who is a full member of another u3a can become an Associate Member for £10. NO INCREASE FROM LAST YEAR.
Anyone paying by BACs MUST send a renewal or membership form to the Membership Secretary at the same time. Without the form, the Membership Secretary has no means initially of knowing that payment has taken place. To comply with GDPR, a renewal form must be signed each year to allow Bedale and District u3a to hold your personal data and to pass on your details to the distributors of 'u3a Matters' magazine if you have opted to receive it. Contact the Membership Secretary to get a membership form.

Gift Aid
To register with us for GIFT AID, please complete the GIFT AID section on our Membership Form.
Donating through GIFT AID means that Bedale & District u3a can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It will not cost you any extra.
The membership fee for Bedale u3a is £13 per person or £10 for associate members and Gift Aid will be claimed for that amount. This fee is for your membership only, to attend monthly meetings and to participate in any Group activity, and does not secure personal use of any facilities or services provided by the u3a.
Changes to personal details
Please inform the Membership Secretary of any changes to your personal details such as address, phone numbers, email address etc.
Invitation to Attend a Committee Meeting
All members are welcome to attend a committee meeting as an observer, without commitment. Please contact the Minutes Secretary or any committee member in advance if you would like to arrange this. Committee meetings are held on the first Friday morning of each month.
Please consider offering to help the committee with tasks.

NATIONAL u3a ONLINE LEARNING EVENTS
The national u3a offer a number of workshops, webinars and interactive sessions delivered by members for members, which are free to join. These are online events and are being delivered via the Zoom video conferencing/webinar platform.
