Life is chaotic but more or less peaceful given the diversity of the crew members and the challenges they face. All is well until the crew is offered the job of a lifetime to build a hyperspace tunnel to a distant planet. All of the crew have secrets to hide and as the ship travels onwards these are exposed with potentially tragic consequences.
This was the Group’s first foray into Science Fiction. It met with a mixed reception with members either finding it unreadable or really enjoying it. It is well written but very much character driven and at heart all about how diverse creatures manage to live and work together facing the challenges of space travel and new enemies.
