Karen will guide you through the processes of deciding where to dig, the different methods of revealing the archaeology, identifying different features and artefacts, research, and specialist assessments, through to final report/publication. . She emphasises that archaeology is not just about digging on site but encompasses a range of activities from planning to reporting.

Karen is a commercial archaeologist from York. Her work is a blend of historical research, environmental sampling and the meticulous documentation of findings, all aimed at understanding the past and its significance.
